This article reports the results of a clinical and electronic evaluation of a portable electrocardiograph. The clinical evaluation was carried out in a regional cardiological unit on both inpatients and outpatients under conditions essentially similar to normal daily routine. The electronic evaluation was conducted according to the recommendations of the American Heart Association.
