摘要:

AbstractA modification of the sulfation-toluidine blue procedure for the detection of fungi in tissue is described. This method uses a sulfation reagent, which is safer to mix and use than the previous reagent, and a counterstain, which provides an improved contrast between the fungi and the background. This modification method is simple to use, and the results are comparable to the original stain.
