摘要:

AbstractWeathering pits occurring in prominent positions on the ridge-tops and summits in part of north-east Sørøy, Finnmark, are described. Such cavities, of remarkably regular form, here occur only in gneisses. They are considered to have developed by a combination of microgelivation and chemical weathering.
