摘要:

Grassmann's third law dealing with metameric colours is restated in a set-theoretical language. This leads to an exact formulation of this law and an explicit definition of the objects dealt with in colour space. As an application, the principle known as persistence of colour match is restated, and some consequences from it are derived.
