SUMMARYThirty‐eight young people aged 4 to 18 years had chronic urinary infection or enuresis or both. All had bladder neck stenosis and the main infecting organism wasE. coli. Thirty‐seven had a Y‐V plasty done and all but four of the enuretics showed considerable improvement. In six children there was complete cure.
