A generalized, deterministic Fokker–Planck equation with Eulerian coefficients is derived from the Vlasov equation without making use of the Markovian approximation. Such an equation is equivalent to a simpler (no time derivative) propagation equation for the average distribution f¯ , and identical at orderE2with a previously derived non‐Markovian quasilinear equation. By expressing the perturbed distribution in terms of f¯ , propagation of f¯ in terms of all of its past history is obtained, with space and time correlations of the orbit perturbations.
