A theoretical model is worked out for calculation the minimum provable concentration at activation analysis under optimum measuring conditions. Expressions are drawn for calculation the minimum activity which can be proved for different lifetime of the obtained radionuclides and in dependence of the background – the detection efficiency, the given statistical error or confidential probability and the measuring time at our disposal. Formulas are given for optimum distribution of the measuring time at disposal.
