摘要:

Specially trained oncology nurses share responsibility with physicians for administering cancer treatment and preventing or managing its side effects and complications. Special emphasis is given to problems associated with chemotherapy; salient aspects of pre- and postoperative management of patients undergoing radiotherapy are also discussed.
