摘要:

The efficacy of an intumescent paint as afire retardant on particleboard, and the effect of a subsequent acrylic coating, were determined by testing to AS 1530, Part 3-1976. The intumescent paint was very effective. A subsequent acrylic coating reduced this efficacy, but the combination of coatings still reduced the Early Fire Hazard compared to particleboard untreated or coated only with acrylic.
