摘要:

2,5-Diphenyl-l,3,4-oxadiazole (PPD) has been investigated for its suitability as a primary szintillator. This compound can be used together with the secondary szintillator POPOP in toluene solution for the measurement of low-energetic β-radiation in biological samples marked by14C. A convenient approach to laboratory syntheses is presented.
