AbstractA series of compounds with the basic structures typical for liquid crystals (cyclohexyl benzenes, biphenyles, bicyclohexylbenzenes and cyclohexylbiphenyls) and alkyl groups containing fluorine (methyl to pentyl, mono‐ to perfluorinated, attached to the benzene end of the core) was investigated.
