The conodont faunas treated in this paper are from the zone ofDidymograptus balticusin South-Central Sweden and the zone ofClimacograptus wilsoniin SW Scotland. On conodont evidence, theDidymograptus balticuszone is correlated with limestone strata intermediate between the Lower and the Upper Planilimbata Limestone. The conodont fauna of theClimacograptus wilsonizone is described and figured, but no new species is named.
