摘要:
AbstractA geoidal section, of 43 stations at about 20 km. spacing, has been observed between Dover and the North coast of Scotland as part of the world-wide scheme recommended by the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics at its General Assembly in Oslo in 1948. The methods used are described and the results and accuracies obtained are presented. The section has been computed both on local Datum, on European Datum and on Fischer's new Astro-Geodetic World Datum.
