‘Adderall’ appears to be significantly better than methylphenidate [‘Ritalin’] at reducing inattention and other symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to new data presented at the Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatry Association [Washington, DC, US; May 1999]. Additionally, ‘Adderall’ reduces the need for in-school dosing, which is a serious issue in the treatment of ADHD.
