SummaryThe authors reviewed the medical records of 106 patients suffering from amyloidosis and established the prevalence of the different forms. There were 40 AL forms, 45 A A secondary cases, 10 132 microglobulin-associated cases in hemodialyscd patients and 9 instances of mediterranean fever. From a sample of 51 of these patients, the authors drew the clinical picture of primary and secondary amyloidosis. Finally, they reviewed the records of 14 patients with amyloidosis hospitalised in the Arthritis Unit in order to study the rheumatological aspect of the disease and particularly the amyloid arthropathy.
