AbstractGreat advances in theology and natural science, largely via Karl Barth and Einstein, have been taking place which affect the very foundation of human knowledge. The acceptance of these new and revolutionary ideas, however, is hindered by a frame of thought derived from obsolete dualism and positivism, which social science often still supports. Only when the frame of thought has yielded to the changes called for by Barth and Einstein and their heirs will the new advances they made be properly effective.
