AbstractTwo new species are added to the large genusErica. E. flexistylaandE. juniperina.The former is distinguished from related small‐, pink‐flowered species by its peculiar flexed style and anemophilous pollination syndrome. The latter species, not closely related to any other species, possesses a tightly packed yet peculiarly hollowed‐out arrangement of the leaves.
