摘要:
The combined role of coating technology and hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is considered in terms of component manufacture and material development. The potential benefits provided by surface and interface engineering followed by consolidation by HIP are highlighted and examples are given for applications such as near-net-shape PM processing, the design and manufacture of metal matrix composites, diffusion bonding and wear/corrosion resistant surfacing.
