摘要:
AbstractThere have been claims that artificial intelligence (AI) has created a new living species. Surely this is not so since DNA is the basis of all life as we know it, and that life is essentially biological in function. However, the achievements of ‘expert’ systems and robotics are considerable and computers will not forget any facts or inference rules built into them.Currently, human experts use common sense, intuition, and their own values in assessing the computer's advice. Hopefully major decisions will never rely entirely on expert systems and they will remain tools not become masters.
