AbstractA combination of liquid—liquid extraction and thin‐layer chromatography permits rapid identification of a large variety of drugs in pharmaceutical or street dosage forms, or in biological materials. The system utilizes selective pH extraction combined with internal standards. Limits of sensitivity are in the sub‐microgram level.
