摘要:

A procedure is described for screening using a variableXwhich will guarantee that 100δ% ofYvalues for screened items will be betweenLandU(two specification limits). The random variables (X,Y) are assumed to have a joint bivariate normal distribution. Tables for implementing the procedure are also given. The procedure is then extended to the case where all the parameters are unknown.
