DNA cytophotometry and DNA labelling with3H-thymidine were used to study the apical cell in lateral root primordia ofMarsilea strigosaand in root apices ofMarsilea strigosa, Blechnum brasiliense, B. gibbum, Polypodium aureumandCeratopteris thalictroides.
