SummaryA 58-year-old patient suffered from persistentCandida glabratafungaemia. Transocsophagcal echocardiography detected a central venous catheterrelated intracardiac thrombosis. Cardiotomy permitted the removal of the catheter and its adherent clot.Candida glabratawas cultured from the thrombus.
