摘要:

The possibility to form doubly excited states give rise to resonances in photodetachment spectra. The states are fragile, dominated by electron correlation and require a careful theoretical treatment. Here recent calculations onHe−andLi−are discussed and the resonances are compared to those in the well studiedH−-ion. ©2000 American Institute of Physics.
