摘要:

An agar overlay containing sheep erythrocytes and the supernatant fluid of a blood culture ofStaphylococcus aureus, poured onto inoculated PALCAM agar plates, allows a reliable visual reading of haemolysis. The method gave up to 95% recovery ofListeria monocytogenesfrom raw food samples.
