The patient described had gonadal dysgenesis and bilateral gonadoblastomas and illustrates well the primary amenorrhea, moderate masculinization, and XY karyotype of this disorder. Clinically, this condition is clearly distinguishable from two other conditions that cause primary amenorrhea and are associated with an equally surprising chromosomal complement— classical Turner’s syndrome and testicular feminization.
