AbstractThe products of the reaction of 2‐cyano‐2‐propyl radicals with 1,4‐benzoquinone in toluene solution have been investigated by1H NMR spectroscopy and mass spectroscopy. In agreement with the findings of Bickel and Waters the main reaction products are the hydroquinone monoether1and the hydroquinone diether2.
