摘要:

A method for serial data transmission from a signal averager (EG&G Model 4202), which stores the data in parallel form, to a VAX computer has been developed. A personal computer, such as an ABC 80 (low cost), serves as an interface for parallel to serial conversion between the signal averager and the VAX computer. The ABC 80 machine reads the data in the averager, by means of a program written in BASIC, and sends them to the VAX computer. A FORTRAN program receives and stores the data on VAX computer. In addition, the FORTRAN program plot the data on different peripherals such as a laser printer, a X-Y plotter or a graphical terminal using graphic commands from UNIRAS, which is an impeded library program. The system has been used to transfer data from an electron spin resonance instrument to the central VAX computer.
