SummaryElectrocardiographic abnormalities have long been reported in patients with central nervous system disorders.Both enzymatic and microscopical evidence confirmed the presence of organic myocardial injury.Experimentally, sympathetic and parasympathetic stimulation as well as catecholamine infusion produced myocardial lesions similar to those observed in subarachnoid hemorrhage.The efficacy of beta-blockers in preventing myocardial damage has been proved.Wc report a case of subarachnoid hemorrhage simulating acute transmural myocardial infarction.
