For the parameter dimension problem of the extended Bellmanean functional equation, we have to obtain appropriate reduction methods. For this purpose, we define the concept “minimal parametric computation set of a functional equation” and develop approximation methods on the basis of this concept. Furthermore, a general conception and examples of error estimates of these approximation methods are given.
