摘要:

SummaryWe report a new case of shunt nephritis developing in a patient with atrio-ventricular derivation for normotensive hydrocephalus. Removal of the infected shunt resulted in the disappearance of urinary abnormalities as well as of circulating immune complexes. Immunologic mechanisms of shunt nephritis are discussed.
