Abstractm‐Bromobenzazide was prepared in good yield by the treatment ofm‐bromobenzhydrazide with nitrous acid in glacial acetic acid solution. The azide, reacted with amines, amides aminophenols, and aminoacids in boiling toluene solution, to give, well defined crystallinem‐bromophenylureas with sharp melting points.
