摘要:
Infrared spectroscopy has rarely been used to study inorganic reactions in the solid state in spite of its advantage that reactants and products can quantitatively be monitored throughout the course of areaction. Manzelli and Taddei1- found that KMnO4reacts in alkali iodide matrices to yield IO3−and MnO2as products, but no spectra of the reaction products were presented Gymkowski, Lamhert, and Kimmel2showed that IO4−is the initial product, which then decomposes to IO3−. At 100°, KMnO4reacts in a KBr diskt o give Br2and MnO2.3
