摘要:

1.A method has been developed for the determination of the thernal stability and decomposition kinetics for organic carboxylic acids.2.The decarboxylation temperatures have been determined for oxalic, malonic, succinic, glutaric, adipic, suberic, azelaic, and sebacic acids.3.It has been found that dicarboxylic acids having an odd number of carbon atoms decompose at lower temperatures than acids having an even number of carbon atoms.4.It has been shown that the thermal stability of the acid increases as we proceed from the lower t the higher members of the homologous series of dicarboxylic acids.5.It has been shown that decarboxylation of dicarboxylic acids must play a considerable inhibiting role in the course of the polycondensation of these acids with bifunctional substances.
