US clinical pharmacists have a major role to play in the ‘brave new world’ of healthcare reform, but so far have been slow to take up the challenge, the Executive Vice President of the American Pharmaceutical Association, told the Winter Forum of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy meeting held in San Diego earlier this month.
