The committee of the European Neutron Scattering Association (ENSA) met for its ninth meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden from May 4–5, 1998. As one of the first items on the agenda, the joint Neutron Scattering Society of the Czech Republic and Slovakia was welcomed as the newest full member of ENSA. which now comprises fifteen user organizations.
