The American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), the national organization for nurse executives and nurse managers, provides direction and leadership for the advancement of nursing practice and patient care in organized healthcare systems. It strives to achieve excellence in executive practice and to shape policy affecting healthcare delivery from the perspective of the nurse executive.
