The focus is on identifying factors that influence nursing outcomes and outcome selection, health promotion in the context of today's nursing practice, and the impovtance of nurses articulating their unique contribution to health promotion. 摘要:
Designing strategies for nursing care is a complex process. Carefully evaluating the nature of the client's problem is a beginning step in the eventual design of a strategy. In this case a careful review of the problem of depression led to the discovery of faulty reasoning mechanisms used by clients who experience depressive episodes. Once the theoretical roots of the problem become clear, the design of the strategy is a natural progression. The success or failure of a strategy is measured by research. The author uses selective examples to describe how various aspects of cognitive therapy can be incorporated into the client's plan of care.

摘要:
As individuals, we have history, the present, and the future. Each of us is the embodiment of these experiences. In order to understand nursing today and its future paths, our history needs exploration. In an effort to provide the reader a perspective on where we were, how far we have traveled, or, in some instances, how little has changed, we reprint this article from Nursing Forum, 1968, 7(1), 87–9

摘要:
What better way to catch the full relevance and poignancy of Dr. Eleanor Lambertsen's article on “The Emerging Health Occupations” (Nursing Forum, 1968) than to conduct a personal interview with this extraordinary nursing leader. Although you may not always agree with Dr. Lambertsen, the issues raised still hold pertinence today and highlight the foresight and conviction of this remarkable wo
