摘要:
In recent years the medical organizations of West Germany have tried to remedy the familiar but paradoxical situation whereby undergraduate teaching is given in highly specialized hospitals by highly specialized personnel, while over half the doctors working outside hospitals are general practitioners. Initial scepticism has been overcome and general practitioners are now being accepted as teachers both in and out of the medical schools. Recently it has been made possible officially to include general practitioners in postgraduate training programmes, lasting for four years.
