摘要:
This paper studies a two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) design method of robust servo systems for step references and disturbances in the setting of output feedback. Specifically, we consider the introduction of a state observer and show that the fundamental desirable properties (i.e. 2DOF nature) attained in the state feedback case are inherited, qualitatively speaking, to the output feedback case. At the same time, we quantitatively clarify the performance deterioration about disturbance rejection caused by the introduction of an observer.

摘要:
A controller/observer pair is presented, on the basis of sliding mode ideas, which provides robust output tracking of a reference signal using only measured output information. Closed-loop analysis indicates that asymptotic tracking of a constant reference signal will be achieved despite the presence of a class of matched uncertainty. Furthermore, a form of ‘separation principle’ is shown to hold for this class of controller and observer, in the sense that they can be designed independently apart from a scalar function of the uncertainty bounds.

摘要:
This paper presents stability robustness bounds for linear discrete-time systems with time-invariant perturbations. These bounds extend the previous investigations for independent perturbations to dependent perturbations and provide improved results. It is shown that the dependent perturbation bound includes an independent perturbation bound previously reported as a special case. These results are illustrated with simple examples.
