摘要:
The robustness to structural changes of interconnected systems described by a structured state model is considered. This corresponds to coefficient cancellations in matrices A, B or C, i.e. to breaking of interconnections, breakdown of actuators or sensors and transducers. According to the representation of the system, the rupture conditions in which the controllability and observability properties are maintained, may be deduced.

摘要:
A new list of feedback invariant integers is introduced. We give several equivalent characterizations of these invariants within both geometric and transfer matrix approaches. When solving the block decoupling problem it turns out that (when decoupling is possible) these integers represent the minimal McMillan degree achievable for the blocks of the decoupled system.

摘要:
Adaptive deadbeat feedforward control for measurable disturbances is analysed for a single-input, single-output non-linear system represented by the Hammerstein model wherein the non-linearity is any odd order polynomial. The recursive least squares estimation method of Chang and Luus (1971) is employed for parameter estimation. Simulation results show that the non-linear adaptive feedforward controller is superior to that of the linear adaptive feedforward controller.

摘要:
It is shown that a family of symmetric interval matrices is Schur if and only if the vertex matrices are Schur. This result is also applicable to Hurwitz stability and aperiodic properties of linear systems.
