摘要:
In a recent paper by the author, the concept of asymptotic stability was extended to systems containing uncertain parameters and a sufficient condition for asymptotic stability of linear discrete systems containing uncertain parameters was developed. In this paper the results are extended and a sufficient condition for asymptotic stability of linear continuous systems containing time-varying uncertain parameters is developed.

摘要:
A method for solution of two-point-boundary value problems based on quasilinearization and sensitivity analysis is proposed. The combination of these two methods yields an iterative predictor-corrector method which possesses the rapid quadratic convergence features of quasilinearization and which converges over a much wider range of initial conditions and initial trajectories than the basic quasilinearization technique.

摘要:
State-space modelling techniques although are now very often used in the analysis of power Systems, the application to the cage of thyristor-controlled induction motors is very now (Novotny and Fath l968, Uango and Ramamoorty 1972a and b), The powerful tool of state-space modelling techniques is applied to the steady-state analysis of voltage-controlled induction motors, by thyristor switching, in this paper. The method is a general method applicable to both single-phase and three-phase motors. Equations are derived with particular reference to two types of single-phase induction motors. Numerical examples are given and performance curves are plotted for each type of motor

摘要:
The paper deals with responses of a non-linear multiple lumped dynamical system bounded in a large neighbourhood of the single, asymptotically stable equilibrium point. The sufficient, analytic criteria for the non-oscillation of such responses have been introduced in previous work (cf. Skowronaki and Shannon 1972). On the basis of the latter, the author discusses a geometric interpretation of necessary and sufficient criteria for non-oscillatory responses applied to the synthetic design of the relevant systems

摘要:
It is shown in this paper that the pole-assignment problem for a linear time-invariant system of order (n) having (p) number of inputs can be solved by seeking the solution of the same problem for a similar system of order (n−p−r) [where 1≤r≤p] having (r1) [withr1≤r] number of inputs. This operation can be repeated to simplify the pole-assignment problem in a recursive manner.
