摘要:
An improved method for transfer function synthesis from measured frequency response data is presented. The improvement is due to a new scheme of matrix adaptation that eliminates measurement dependent inaccuracies step by step. Arbitrary coefficients can be set to any preassigned values, so that account can be taken of previous knowledge of the investigated system. An extension to integrating systems is developed. The efficiency of the proposed method is demonstrated for an example taken from the literature.

摘要:
The paper introduces the concept of normal approximations to the analysis of uncertain linear multivariable feedback systems, in order to derive a new criterion for the stability of plants subject to additive perturbations. This criterion permits a complete assessment of stability margins in that it provides a measure of tolerance to uncertainty as well as providing a measure of gain/phase margins. The proposed approach leads to a systematic design procedure which minimizes the effects of uncertainty by attaining the condition of normality or which improves the stability margins by robust gain/phase sharing. The results presented in this paper are insensitive to small perturbations on the nominal plant model and provide the means for a consideration of information concerning the structure of uncertainty.

摘要:
The annihilatorsN, Mof the input and output maps,B,C, respectively of the linear state space modelS(A, B, C) led to theNAMalgorithm for the calculation of system zeros. A recent paper proposed an alternative algorithm and the present paper undertakes a comparison between the two. It is shown that the new approach resembles theNAMalgorithm and indeed, in all but the general case the two approaches are shown to be conceptually identical ; in the general case the new method fails to identify the precise set of zeros and this obviates the need for a comparison. An examination of the computational aspects however demonstrates the advantages of the NAM algorithm in both the calculation of zeros and zero directions.

摘要:
Linear quadratic regulators for singularly perturbed difference equations are considered. Asymptotic behaviour of the optimal solution as the perturbation parameter tends to zero is studied. The composite feedback control strategy of continuous-time singularly perturbed systems is extended to the new problem.

摘要:
An algorithm for linear discretized filtering and its dual discretized quadratic-coat optimal control for real-time applications on continuous-time systems is presented. The algorithm is optimal in the sense of achieving the optimal approximation, by discretized time processing, to the ideal but non-realizable continuous-time processing. It provides the possibility to choose the sampling rate beforehand by obtaining the corresponding error-variance or the policy cost. The problem's horizon can be finite. Properties and applications of the algorithm are explored. The concept of duality is made apparent and given-new insight.

摘要:
The paper presents a new easy method to obtain the product of the Walsh spectra of two functions. The method makes use of both the spectra of Walsh and block-pulse functions (b.p.f.s). The proposed method can be easily implemented with a digital computer. It will be very useful in the analysis and optimal control of time varying systems via Walsh functions.
