The identification problem is solved for a general class of hybrid distributed-parameter control systems which can be modelled by a generalized space and time-dependent linear regression equation. The two extreme cases in which the covariance matrix of the noise process is known or not known are considered. The solution is derived by minimizing a quadratic functional, which in the case of Gaussian noise coincides with the negative logarithm of the likelihood functional. The results are more general and complete than those given in a recent paper, since the problem is approached directly in distributed-parameter form and the parameters to be estimated may be spatially dependent

摘要:
A procedure for the design of non-linear compensators for automatic control systems is presented. Asymptotic stability in the large (ASIL) is chosen as the constraint condition. The Popov criterion forms the basis for ensuring ASIL. Two examples illustrate the design procedure. Although, the approach is digital computer oriented, the design can be accomplished using a paper-and-pencil equivalent.

摘要:
A theoretical stability analysis of a single input, sinusoidal perturbation, extremal control system with output lag is being considered. Using the principle of harmonic balance it is shown that various stable harmonic and sub-harmonic ‘steady-state’ solutions are possible in certain regions of the parameter space. By examining the domains of attraction, corresponding to the stable solutions, regions in three-dimensional space are obtained within which initial conditions will lead to a given ‘steady-state’ stable oscillation.
