摘要:
The paper studies the unattainability of certain closed-loop pole positions in single-input multi-output systems with constant output feedback. It is shown that there are two classes of unattainable pole positions : those which are unattainable individually and those which are unattainable simultaneously. The individually unattainable pole positions are identified as the locations of the common zeros of the open-loop system, and a set of simultaneously unattainable pole positions results in linearly dependent rows in a certain matrix. Illustrative numerical examples are given.

摘要:
A multivariable feedback systemy¯(s)=G(s)x(s).x¯(s)=ū(s) −F(s)y(s) is considered, whereG(sδ (gkl(s) is then×nplant transfer matrix andf(s) = diag (f1) ⃛f2(s) ⃛fn(s)). By imposing some restrictions on the structure ofG(s), we may use the eigenvalues λj(s), 1≤j≤nofG(s) to infer the stability of the closed-loop system in an arbitrary rectangular region Φ δ{F

摘要:
This paper considers extensions of the pole-placement algorithm of Sirisena and Choi (1975) to the design of output feedback control systems with minimum pole sensitivity to plant parameter changes. Two different design approaches are proposed. In one approach, exact pole placement is obtained at the nominal values of the parameters while minimizing a measure of the pole sensitivity to small parameter variations. The second approach yields optimal, though not exact, pole placement in a minimum mean square error sense over a (not necessarily small) prescribed range of parameter values. Illustrative numerical examples are included.

摘要:
The concept of vector Liapunov functions is used to compare and discuss two exponential stability criteria for large-scale stochastic discrete systems which can be decomposed into subsystems. When Liapunov functions and interaction coefficients are known, stochastic exponential stability of the composite system is shown. If such detailed information is not forthcoming, a stochastic vector comparison theorem can often be used to show exponential stability in probability.
