摘要:
A new design procedure is presented to obtain a simplified control scheme using the reduction technique. In some practical cases, the optimal control may be required using only a restricted set of state variables. An attempt is made to design a reduced-order control law using only a restricted sot of state variables. The technique is illustrated by an example.

摘要:
A digital control system to control a double inverted pendulum on a cart is presented, where the cart is placed on an inclined rail and is to be kept in position at a given reference point. The controller design is based on linear servo control theory and can control the cart position of the inverted pendulum, eliminating the effect of the rail incline. Theoretical analyses of the pendulum and of the control system are given.

摘要:
Systems described by state difference equations containing small parameters are cast into singularly perturbed form. A perturbation method is developed to obtain an approximate solution consisting of an outer series and a correction series. The characteristic features of singular perturbations are clearly brought, out. Due to the interplay between the various steps involved in the actual working of the method, an algorithm is presented. Examples are given to illustrate the method.
