摘要:
Relative controllability of a class of non-linear time-varying dynamical systems with distributed delays in the control is considered. Using Schauder's fixed-point theorem, sufficient conditions for global and local relative controllability are formulated. These conditions extend some previous results by considering a more general class of dynamical systems.

摘要:
This paper is concerned with an algebraic formulation of the problem of decoupling by output feedback. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an output feedback which decouples a triple (A, B, C) is presented. The main advantage of the algebraic approach taken here is that it is easily treated on a computer.

摘要:
For a control system consisting of a first-order plant and a relay in a closed loop, and with a gaussian white noise disturbance added to the plant input, the Fokker-Planck equation is applied to find the first and second probability density functions of the plant output. Closed-form expressions are then obtained for the autocorrelations, cross-correlations, spectral densities and cross-spectral densities of all the system signals. The results may be used to test the assumptions made in approximate methods of analysis of stochastic bang-bang control systems.

摘要:
A new method is described for introducing integral action into linear quadratic optimal control systems. The method is particularly appropriate for thes-domain design of controllers for output-feedback optimal systems. The usual performance criterion is modified by the addition of an integral operator and this ensures that the system has zero steady-state error. The technique has several advantages over those previously discussed, and in its simplest form may be shown to be equivalent to the use of a [udot] term in tho cost function. Optimal output-feedback controllers are defined for both stochastic and deterministic multivariable systems.

摘要:
A new canonical form for a class of non-linear time-varying systems is introduced. It allows control design by pole assignment in a very systematic and clear way. Under certain conditions a system can be transformed to this special form by a nonlinear time-varying transformation. These conditions define a sufficient criterion for controllability in the large, a new aspect of the controllability concept for non-linear systems.

摘要:
This paper is concerned with linear multivariable optimal control systems subjected to parameter variations and constant disturbances. A generalized design method of optimal tracking systems is presented and then its steady-state properties are investigated. In particular, the method obtained here is applied to optimal stabilization policies for macroeconomic systems of money supply.

摘要:
A method is presented which solves the problem of determining theT-periodic feedback matrixK(t) of a linear periodic system (A(t),B(t) andC(t)), such that the closed-loop system has a desired stability property. The results are used to solve the problem of aligning the angular momentum and the spin axis of a spin-stabilized body with an inertial reference direction.

摘要:
This paper considers theL2stability ofn-input/n-output linear, time-invariant feedback systems. It is demonstrated that the ring of all linear, bounded, time-invariant (LBTI) operators ofL2into itself is isomorphic with a commutative ringK(0) of bounded and holomorphic complex functions with domain the open right-half plane (ORHP). Necessary and sufficient conditions forn-input/n-output stability are derived from the conditions of invertibility of matrices over the ringK(0). Furthermore, a comprehensive analysis is given of the geometric interpretation of the stability conditions leading to a generalized Nyquist criterion. It is shown that the properties of a system matrixA∈K(0)n×nassociated with its invertibility inK(0)n×ncan be deduced from simple encirclement conditions in the complex plane involving the loci of the eigenvalues ofA.

摘要:
Several classes of linear time-varying systems are found to be solvable, and explicit methods for obtaining their solutions are available. In this paper it will be shown that there exists an algebraic transformation such that any linear time-varying system can be transformed into any desired solvable class. Consequently, it is concluded that solvability of linear time-varying systems is only a property of the system representation. It is definitely not an inherent property of the dynamic system.
