摘要:
With the advent of space technology the study of gyros, which form the heart of navigational control systems, has gained much importance. This paper studies the response of such gyro systems to random inputs. The analysis has been extended to cover the case of gyros subjectod to combined deterministic and random inputs. In both the cases the statistical properties of the response have been determined using standard techniques of generalized harmonic analysis.

In this paper, the solutions to the governing differential equations of certain classes of non-linear time dependent systems are sought in terms of elliptic functions with time varying amplitudes and frequences. The analysis presented, while being limited in its application to certain classes of systems only, is believed to be of general interest as there exists very little reported work in the field of non-linear, non-autonomous systems.

摘要:
A disadvantage to the majority of smoothing algorithms which have been presented is that computation must be performed off-line. For the case where smoothing is desired at a finite number of points, on-line algorithms for this fixed-point smoothing have been developed. This work prosents the developments associated with the error and sensitivity analysis of these algorithms. Examples illustrating the theory are presented.

A sufficient condition for global asymptotic stability of the null equilibrium state is derived by the method of comparison functions.

摘要:
Evaluation of the Fourior transform of the system impulse response is an important aspect of the design of control systems. A method suggested hero requires only one cycle of sine or cosine wave to be applied as an input to the system. It is proved that the sum of the sampled values of the output response, at the sampling interval equal to the period of the input wave, directly yields the sign and cosine transforms respectively. The procedure is generalized to any number of complete cycles of input wave, as well as ton/2 cycles whorenis any odd positive integer.

Mikhailov’s stability curves constitute a direct method for determining the stability of systems from a frequency response form, derived from the characteristic equation. Acceptance of Mikhailov's methods has been slow because of the difficulty of plotting the curves when the number of parameter variations may be large and also when pure time delays are present.

摘要:
The effects of randomness in the non-linear controller of Lurie type control systems are considered in the paper. It is shown that the Popov type sufficient condition can be derived for stability in the mean of such systems through the stochastic version of the second method of Liapunov. It is found that the condition is similar to that for the deterministic counterpart of the system except that the mean characteristic is now involved.

摘要:
In this paper a method of testing and realization of two-realizable threshold functions have been suggested. It is shown that the two–realizable functions may be factored into three different forms, (i) sum of or (ii) product of or (iii) ‘ sum–of–product ’ of threshold functions. Since threshold functions are unate functions, a method of decomposition of Boolean functions into unate functions in the above three forms is suggested. The concept of minimal unate function and the cover table of the given Boolean function und its complement is utilized to obtain the above three factored forms.

摘要:
A wide-range linear delay circuit is described. Such circuits have wide applications. The present circuit, which has excellent temperature stability, employs a compensated bootstrap circuit for generation of a linear ramp waveform and a regenerative Schmitt triggor comparator. The circuit provides good performance and sharp waveforms which may be used for triggering other digital circuits directly.

The Kalman filtering problem is reformulated for coloured noise. This allows solution of the corresponding lugging filtering problem.
