摘要:
Using interpolation methods for holomorphic functions from the unit disc to itself we drive a synthesis procedure for stabilizing a single input-output plant with uncertainty in the gain factor by means of single-loop feedback with an asymptotically stable control and feedback sensor. We moreover give an algorithm for obtaining the optimum design.

摘要:
We give a general formulation of the minimal stable observer problem, and show its equivalence to a minimization problem concerning certain pairs of invariant subspaces in the system state space. From this, we obtain a complete solution of the problem of finding a minimal stable observer that estimates the complete state.

摘要:
The subject, of this paper is the dead-beat control of discrete-time bilinear systems with independent additive and multiplicative controls. The first, issue is the proof that controllability to the origin is a necessary and sufficient existence condition, and that the dead-beat controller can be chosen, without loss of generality, with a two-layer structure. Then, the controllability to the origin of the system is shown to be equivalent to that of homogeneous subsystems, obtained through successive decompositions of it. Thus, the problem of finding a dead-beat controller is reduced to that of zeroing the state of these subsystems. Lastly, some conditions for the controllability to the origin of a special type of homogeneous bilinear system are given.

摘要:
In order to check the theoretical results of a previous study (Lurie 1980 a) a 16-order 2-ehannel non-linear feedback system was designed and tested. The average slope of the feedback cut-off was — 20 dB/octave. The system was unconditionally (globally) stable. In the prescribed frequency band the attained feedback was 30 dB greater than the theoretical limit for a single-loop system. A good agreement with the theory of the previous study was achieved

摘要:
An approximate method for solving a class of non-linear optimal control problems with distributed parameters is presented. Approximate techniques, such as the Galerkin method, the Gauss principle and the integral method, are used to transform the original minimum time problem with distributed parameters into a corresponding problem with the lumped parameters. The lumped parameter system is analysed by the Pontryagin maximum principle. Using the Warner algorithm, numerical results are obtained for the minimum time problem of non-linear heat conduction. The influence of different physical parameters on the final results are analysed in detail.

摘要:
This paper is devoted to a study of hyperstability of linear control systems in Hilbert spaces. Using one of Yakubovich's results (1975), necessary and sufficient conditions for hyperstability of these systems are given. The results obtained are a generalization, for the infinite-dimensional case, of the well-known results of Popov (1963, 1964, 1973).

摘要:
This paper is concerned with a property of a certain transformation of a matrix in terms of eigenvalues. The transformation, which results in a circle-symmetric shifting of eigenvalues, is derived by using a solution of an algebraic Riccati equation. A concept of the circle-symmetry is introduced.

摘要:
A combined method making use of the advantages of the stability-equation method and the continued-fraction method for reducing high order single-input/single-output systems and multivariate systems is presented. The reduction procedure is simple and computer-oriented. The reduced model is guaranteed to be stable if the original system is stable.

摘要:
The design of multivariable systems can be approached with many different design objectives. An appealing approach from a mathematical point of view is to describe the dynamics of plant and compensator in state-spaco form, transform the resulting augmented system into a problem involving a system performance index such as pole assignment, and apply optimization techniques to choose compensator parameters. This paper develops a methodology whereby exact or partial pole assignment under variations of plant characteristics is incorporated into the system performance index. Through calculations of the gradients of the performance index with respect to compensator parameters, one is able to apply derivative optimization methods to the design problem. Examples are provided to illustrate the design methodology.

摘要:
The problem of tracking a reference variable from a given class is considered for discrete-time linear single-input-output plants. The plant and the reference are both described by an input/output relation, such as a difference equation, and the objective is to track exactly in a minimum time. This dead-beat servo problem is solved hero by applying polynomial techniques. The optimal control law is shown to contain both feed-back and feed-forward terms and it is obtained by solving two linear polynomial equations. The entire design procedure is remarkably simple and efficient.
