摘要:
A computer programme for the static worst-case design of a diode-transistor logic element is described. The approach adopted permits the designer to take into account the possible existence of voltage and current-operated loads other than identical logic elements which the element may be called upon to drive. The computer results comprise a complete listing of all sets of standard resistor values capable of providing a specified fan-out factor for given supply line and resistor tolerances and given diode and transistor parameters. By eliminating much tedious calculation and narrowing the field these solutions form useful starting points from which the engineer may proceed to a final design satisfying all the imposed conditions.

摘要:
The paper considers the description via covtariance matrices of noise which can appear at measurement points of lumped physical systems, themselves excited by sources of white gaussian noise, with the possibility of direct input to output coupling allowed.

摘要:
Stability inequalities relating five system parameters have been derived using state apace analysis fornfinite pulse sampled-data system. Further, these inequalities have been utilized to compute absolute stability boundaries in n parameter space and in particular their variation with pulse width and sampling period is described.

摘要:
In this paper a method for determining control laws for distributed parameter systems is discussed. The method leads to feedback control systems which are completely stable and have improved speeds of response over those of the corresponding uncontrolled systems. Specific results are obtained for systems describable by parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations with controls introduced at the boundary and in the interior of the systems' spatial domains. Numerical examples are also given to substantiate the validity of certain theoretical results.

摘要:
The behaviour of a monostable trigger circuit, which is triggered with periodic pulse, trains is analysed by determining the sequence of its division ratio. Some general properties of these sequences are found, from which it follows that the sequence may show irregular changes, periodical changes or take a constant value of the division ratio after a sufficient number of cycles. Some conditions are found which must be satisfied for the sequence to have one of the above-mentioned properties. Periodical changes are obtained only in exceptional cases.

摘要:
The possibility of direct triggering of one cathode or emitter coupled univibrator by the differentiated cathode or emitter voltage jump of the other is discussed and analysed, for univibrators connected into a chain. Simple approximate relations are derived for the univibrator optimum trigger pulse nominal threshold voltage and for the maximum permissible deviation from their nominal parameters, which show that this way of triggering is suitable both for transistor and for tube circuits.
